The next two Saturdays, Aug 8th and 15th, my band Metolius Rising will be playing in the courtyard at Oakway Mall. We play quite an eclectic mix of old and new and it is lively and a lot of fun. The venue is gorgeous and cool with many awesome food vendors to choose from including Oakway Wine and Deli, Chapala’s, Johnny Oceans, Cafe Yumm and Cold Stone ice cream. We start at 5:30pm and there is no admission charge. Bring your lawn chairs and have a picnic with us! This Saturday, 8/8/09 we are opening for Coupe deVille at the KKNX oldies 84 listener party and next week you have us for a whole three hours.
